My Review with The Academic Word List
In this week I choose one strategy from my learning language plan. This strategy was from the vocabulary development. I reviewed the vocabulary’s column of the Academic Word List in Inside Reading 1 book. I made task to check my spelling in those words. I found those words easy so I found a few false in my spelling of those words such as acknowledge and ambiguous. Also, I memorized their meaning in Arabic and in English language. Some words I learned them from last year so they helped me to memorize them quickly for example academy and affect. This strategy would help me a lot to understand the texts in Inside Reading 1 book. In addition, memorizing those words would help me in the final English skills 1 exam. Furthermore, those words would help me in my writing skill. I will keep up with this strategy to benefit from it in the final exam. In this strategy I used www.dictionary.com to help me to get the meaning of the vocabulary.
Language Learning Journal developed my writing skill. In addition, it helped me to know how to write reflection of any word. Also, it helped me to do what I plan in my Language Learning Plan.
